Adult Bible Discussions

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and  training in righteousness,…”  2 Timothy 3:16

Sunday Morning Bible Classes
Between September (Labor Day) and May (Memorial Day), Ascension holds bible classes on Sunday mornings for adults from 10-10:45 a.m., between regular worship services. We hope you will join us, and for those who are unable, pray that you continue in personal and small group Bible study and reflection and we welcome the opportunity to talk with you to discuss what you find.

What does it mean to be a Lutheran?  In this 500th anniversary year of the Reformation we thank God that he sent Martin Luther to boldly stake his conscience and his life on the truth of God’s Word, but we who now bear the name “Lutherans” would do well to ask ourselves Luther’s favorite question, “What does this mean?”   The Augsburg Confession explains how it was never the intention of the Lutheran reformers to start a new church, rather they wanted to return the church to authentic grace-centered Scripture-based Christianity.  All are welcome to join us on Tuesdays at 7 pm beginning September 12th as Pastor Roloff leads us in studying this exposition of our faith.
