Brian Roloff - Pastor

Pastor Brian Roloff was called from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary to Ascension in July 2012.  He has a particular passion for preaching and reaching out with the gospel.  He is convinced that God's undeserved love for us in Christ changes hearts and renews our minds; it gets rid of our guilt and gives purpsoe to even our most painful moments.  Through the gift of faith God gives us all that his Son, Jesus Christ, has won: his perfect life, his power to fight against sin and temptation, and his heavenly home. Jesus is our greatest treasure.  When we have him, we have all that truly matters and the best that the Lord wants to give us.

Pastor Roloff graduated from UW-Stevens Point in 2002 with a double major in History and Social Studies for Secondary Education. After being elected to and serving on his church’s board of evangelism, he enrolled in and completed the seminary certification program at Martin Luther College. He then earned his Master’s of Divinity degree at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. Prior to joining Ascension, he served as a vicar (an intern pastor) at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Columbus, Ohio. Pastor Roloff and his wife, Christy, live in Plymouth with their three young children.

I also appreciate that I can use God’s Word throughout the day as I teach and prepare these children for their future. Finally, I enjoy watching them grow physically and intellectually as I prepare them for the next level of learning.”
